Star Wars: Comedian Bill Burr Confirms That He's in The Mandalorian

Comedian Bill Burr has gone on record for saying that he doesn't care about Star Wars at all, so it was kind of a surprise for SWCC 2019 attendees when some early footage for The Mandalorian revealed that Burr was in the show. A lot of people were expecting to see an official look at Burr in the trailer released last week, but we got nothing. The good news is, Burr has somewhat confirmed that he is, in fact, going to be in Star Wars.

When mentioned by a fan on Twitter that Burr was in Star Wars, Burr had replied:

Though fans at SWCC 2019 actually got to see Burr's face in the footage, the best we got of Burr in the officially released trailer was the back of his head:

By the looks of it, Burr's character is part of a mercenary group that will the Mandalorian finds himself teaming up with. Natalia Tena has revealed that she's playing the Twi'lek in the crew, and the other person we see with the gang is Batman Begins actor Mark Boone Junior. We don't know how Burr's character is going to turn out, but I'm hoping Favreau has him say some fun lines—much like what Burr did with his minor role in Breaking Bad.

Just in case you're curious, here's Burr's infamous rant about not getting the Star Wars hype:

We don't know when we're going to get our next teaser for Mandalorian, but with a November release date, I'm expecting Disney will drop something new in October to get everyone hyped again.

Catch The Mandalorian when it comes out on Disney+ which launches on Nov. 12.
