Star Wars Celebration: Billy Dee Williams Shares Fantastic Han and Lando Poster

Star Wars Episode IX may be a long wait away, but this April will get to see the return of Star Wars Celebration. Billy Dee Williams is set to make an appearance at the event, and he shares this fantastic poster for Han and Lando by Chris Trevas.

If I were to guess, this scene would be taking place right after Han lands in Cloud City in Empire Strikes Back. The two are wearing the same clothes from that scene, and you can also see an ugnaught at the back making repairs on the Falcon. The fun thing about Star Wars is that you can always fill in the blanks inbetween films with fanart or comics.

Billy Dee Williams has been confirmed to be reprising the role of Lando Calrissian in Star Wars Episode IX. We don't know how much of Lando we'll see in the film, but it's said that he'll have a similar role to Maz Kanata in The Force Awakens. Personally, I was kind of hoping that Lando got to pilot the Falcon one more time. After Solo: A Star Wars Story, there's now a lot more to Lando's relationship with the rinky dink freighter.

We don't have a title yet, but hopefully we get a reveal plus the first teaser in Star Wars Celebration this April. At this point, the fans are standing on a thin line between hype and irritation, and Lucasfilm better do something about it soon.

Star Wars Episode IX comes out Dec. 20.
