Star Wars Battlefront II is Bringing Back the Limited Edition Skins

While a lot of people are keeping their eye out for the Rise of Skywalker expansion coming to Star Wars Battlefront II, it looks like we'll be getting more goods for the holiday season. As it turns out, the devs are going to give players a second chance at getting some limited edition skins that came out earlier this year.

Here's the announcement:

Probably the biggest items included in the Holiday Quest are the New Hope skins for Princess Leia, and Luke Skywalker. While I could honestly care less, I'm sure there are some fans who would want their hands on the extra cosmetics for characters like Obi-Wan, Maul, General Grievous, and Yoda.

Personally I would have loved to get even more skins for characters, but I guess the developers are busy working on the TROS expansion coming to the game. While we don't have any official details yet, it's said to be a new map based on a planet that will be introduced in the film, as well as new reinforcements for the Resistance and the First Order.

Hopefully, by next year, we could get more material based on the Original Trilogy. I still want a skin for A New Hope Han Solo (not the Yavin ceremony look), and some fans have been asking for skins for Darth Vader, Palpatine, and Boba Fett as well. I mean, they gave Dooku pyjamas; how hard is it to give us an unmasked Vader or an Evil Anakin skin?

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
