Star Wars Battlefront II Lead is in Netflix's Space Force

Janina Gavankar has pretty much solidified her role in the Star Wars fandom as Battlefront II protagonist Iden Versio, but did you know she has a small appearance in Netflix's new show, Space Force?

Here's her official reveal:

Gavankar's appearance is actually in the seventh episode titled Edison Jaymes where she plays the assistant of the titular character. Her character is actually the ex of Ben Schwartz's Tony, and they have some fun back and forth throughout the show. Though Gavankar only had a small role, it would be fun to see her come back and cause some havoc for the team of Space Force.

While the show isn't really The Office-level of funny, it does have some have fun characters and some great overall themes. Even The Office wasn't received well when it first came out, so I'm hoping that Greg Daniels and Steve Carell manage to flesh out the ensemble better when it comes to future seasons—that is, if Netflix renews the show for more seasons.

As for Gavankar, a lot of people are hoping that she manages to make an appearance as Iden Versio in The Mandalorian. With several characters like Boba Fett and Ahsoka set to appear in the second season, it's only a matter of time before Mando decides to bring in the leader of Inferno Squadron.

For now, catch Space Force available on Netflix.
