Spider-Man PS4's New Art for Black Cat Released to Hype Up DLC Expansion

Spider-Man for the PS4 was a smash hit for Insomniac Games and the developers are set to release their first DLC expansion later this month. The DLC will introduce to us yet a new Spider-Man villain, Black Cat, and some new artwork has been released to hype her up.

Check it out:

Here's the synopsis for the upcoming expansion:

Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist - Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, is back in town and leaving mysterious clues around Marvel's New York to toy with Spider-Man.

The Heist is only the first chapter of a three-part story, and we're expected to get one installment of the story per month. November will see the arrival of Turf Wars, and December will see the conclusion with Silver Lining.

For anyone looking to buy the expansion, each installment will cost you $9.99; but you can also purchase the entire package for $24.99.

With games like Star Wars Battlefront II leaving players starved for updates, Insomniac is doing right by the fans by adding an expansion so close to the release of the core game. We don't know if we're going to be getting any more DLC after this one, but it's been said that Insomniac is already planning a sequel; what's more, it could even have something to do with the black symbiote suit.

There had to be a reason why this game didn't have Venom at all.

Spider-Man is now available to play for the PS4. The first DLC expansion, The City That Never Sleeps, comes out Oct. 23.
