Spider-Man: Marisa Tomei Shares Different Looks for Aunt May That Were Scrapped

One of the boldest moves for the MCU's Spider-Man is that they made Aunt May significantly younger than she was in the comics. Marisa Tomei plays a very fun May, which is closer to a big sister than an aunt, and she just shared these alternate looks for her character that were scrapped before Homecoming.

Check these out:

I absolutely love these alternate looks for May, but I have a feeling that the frizzy hair would have made her look a tad dorky. With the running gag with this new May being that everyone finds her attractive, I think they went the right direction with the look that they settled with.

With May's look being a new key factor about her character, I was kind of hoping that we saw more of that in the movies. So far, we only ever see her be in Peter's home life and not really do anything too significant. Maybe down the line we actually get to see a film where May has a more substantial role. She was pretty much extra in Far From Home, and personally, I'm not that big of a fan that she's dating Happy Hogan.

With May being the bombshell that she is, I'm kind of curious about how Uncle Ben turns out in the MCU. My personal favorite for the role would be Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who I think would be a great partner for Tomei. Here's hoping we get to meet Uncle Ben at some point in Tom Holland's Spidey run.
