Shazam! Test Screenings Confirm a ‘Super’ Cameo

Aquaman was a huge hit for the DCEU last December, and everyone is gearing up for the release of Shazam! this coming April. It was said that Henry Cavill had turned down a cameo in the movie like Superman, but it's possible that he did make an appearance after all.

According to The GWW's KC Walsh, we should expect a neat cameo coming to the film. This is his post:

What's also curious is the description that the cameo is ‘concerning' and ‘exciting'. If Superman were to appear, I know that I'd just be excited, but which hero would mark ‘concern'? Do you think Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne is going to show up?

Of course, it's possible that this cameo isn't by Cavill at all. There were rumors coming out last year that Gal Gadot was going to appear in the film as Wonder Woman. I also wouldn't be opposed to another appearance from other League members like Cyborg, Aquaman, or the Flash. I think any hopes of a Green Lantern introduced are too farfetched.

Who's going to appear? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. The whole point of the movie is Billy Batson coming to his own as a superhero. How cool would it be if the movie was filled with Superman references like newspaper clippings and news segments and in the end, Billy runs into Clark Kent?

Billy Batson is a streetwise 14-year-old who can magically transform into the adult superhero Shazam simply by shouting out one word. His newfound powers soon get put to the test when he squares off against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Catch Shazam! in theaters April 5.
