Sebastian Stan Shares New Image from the Set of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier

When COVID-19 was on the rise, one of the productions to get hit was Marvel Studios' The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. With shooting restarting again though, Sebastian Stan has decided to share a BTS photo of himself and Anthony Mackie on the set.

Check them out:

This is probably the first time we get to see Falcon's new suit in full, and unlike his black and red outfit from the earlier films, it looks like this one will be closer to the comic colors of red and white. We also see Bucky sporting the short hair from The First Avenger, which is a look I didn't know I was missing for ol' Bucky Barnes.

Without an official preview, we only really have bits and pieces of the story of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. From what information we've gotten over the past months, we know that one central conflict is the mantle of Captain America. The government apparently doesn't want Sam in the role, and that's why they've hired John Walker a.k.a. U.S. Agent to be the new bearer of the shield. I'm not sure how this factors in, but it's also rumored that Baron Zemo will be connected to some kind of deadly virus. Until we get an official update, all we can really do is guess.

While the show was expected to debut in August, COVID has pushed back the release indefinitely. At this rate, it's likely The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will come out in 2021. Best case scenario, Disney releases it in December.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is yet to receive a release date on Disney+.
