Screenshot from ‘Justice League vs. The Fatal Five’ Confirms Bruce Timm Art-Style

Though the DCEU may have pumped the brakes when it comes to live-action films, WB Animation has been hard at work with their animated DC movies. An upcoming film is Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, and a screenshot seemingly confirms the return of the Bruce Timm-inspired DCAU.

You may already be familiar with Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman, but the Green Lantern in the shot is possibly Jessica Cruz along with more obscure DC hero Mr. Terrific. You'll also know Miss Martian. Like the title suggests, the movie will have the Justice League clashing with the Fatal Five, which includes the likes of Tharok, Emerald Empress, Validus, Mano, and the Persuader.

Interestingly enough, the Fatal Five had already appeared in the original Justice League Unlimited series:

It's been a while since fans have been asking for a #JLReunion, and it looks like this movie is it. Besides the familiar art style, we also have the return of several Justice League veterans like Kevin Conroy (Batman), George Newbern (Superman), and Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman).

Justice League vs. The Fatal Five is just one of the upcoming DC animated projects. We're also getting animated adaptations of Mark Millar's Superman: Red Son, plus the classic Batman: The Long Halloween. Is it too much to ask them to reuse this Bruce Timm art style one more time?

Catch Justice League vs. The Fatal Five when it comes out Aug. 6.
