Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal Respond to Tom Holland’s ‘Handstand Challenge’

Spider-Man star Tom Holland had recently performed the ‘Handstand Challenge' on his IG stories where he attempted to put on a shirt while doing a handstand. He ended the video challenging Marvel stars Ryan Reynolds and Jake Gyllenhaal, and both have very different reactions to the challenge.

For one, Gyllenhaal himself had performed the challenge and even challenged Hugh Jackman, 50 Cent, and his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal. Check it out:

And on the other hand, Reynolds… well, he speaks for himself:

Just in case you missed it, here's Holland doing the challenge (this is the start of a thread):

With all the celebrities usually playing along with these challenges, I just love how Reynolds manages to always try and keep himself funny when he gets tagged for things like this. If anything, he's staying on-brand, and isn't coming off as rude at all.

For now, production for Spider-Man 3 has been delayed, and Holland has nothing to do but stay in and work out. Fans are still waiting on Deadpool's debut in the MCU, and it was even rumored that he could also be making an appearance with the next Spider-Man movie. As for Mysterio, it looked like he died in Far from Home, but it's very likely that he'll come back in some way. After all, Gyllenhaal was a fantastic Quentin Beck, and it's kind of fun to see a Spider-Man villain that's just all out diabolical and dastardly.

Though production may be pushed back, Sony has not changed the set release date for Spider-Man 3 which is on July 16, 2021.
