Ryan Reynolds' Advice for Showing Deadpool to Your Kids

Deadpool has been a franchise that is famously not for kids but seeing as he's a Marvel hero, the Merc with the Mouth can't help but have some younger fans. When asked by a fan how to show Deadpool to their kids, Ryan Reynolds shared his solution on Twitter:

Interestingly enough, the only Deadpool film to get an official PG rating was the sequel (i.e., Once Upon a Deadpool), but the original film is yet to get an official kid-friendly cut. If anything, some local channels have opted to edit their own cable-friendly version of the film, so you can probably lookout for those in your area.

Going back to Deadpool though, it's still unknown how Marvel Studios plans to move forward, now that they have all the Marvel Fox characters under their banner. The guess is that they will continue with R-rated Deadpool films, but have him act PG-13 when he crosses over to other franchises.

It's also been said that Ryan Reynolds is the only actor they want to keep playing Deadpool, so we shouldn't be worried about the part being recast in the future.

Personally, I think it would be great to just have Deadpool introduced in a Doctor Strange movie, where it can be said that he was pulled out of an alternate dimension. Then when asked if he could be sent back, Deadpool would just say he can't because his universe was "canceled." Maybe he can even make jabs at the Sony/Disney divorce over Spider-Man, seeing that everyone was finally hoping for a team-up, only to have the rug pulled under them.

No release date has been set for the next Deadpool film.
