Russo Brothers Share BTS Photo with the 2012 Avengers (and Loki)

Avengers: Endgame famously had time-travel at the center of the plot, and the film made us come back to 2012 when the Avengers first formed. With the spoiler ban lifter, directors The Russo Brothers have shared this new BTS image of them hanging with the original 2012 Avengers (plus Loki).

While Thor did spend all of the film overweight, this is probably the only time we see him fit onscreen. I also think it's cool we get to see a side of the movie we never really did see in the film itself, like Tony Stark commenting about ‘posing up a storm' some other time or the HYDRA agents coming to collect the Mind Stone.

If anything, the movie really did keep its promise of making all the MCU films since Iron Man come full circle. While some may complain that the movie really doesn't stand well on its own, I think it feels like a massively great reward for anyone who was following the franchise since 2008.

Either way, Endgame is coming out to be one of the highest grossing films of all time, so I guess whatever some critics say, Marvel has already won as far as anyone else is concerned. Now fans are just wondering if they'll ever be able to top what they just achieved with their next phase of films.
