#ReleaseTheSnyderCut: Zack Snyder Teases a Green Lantern Reveal

Zack Snyder had done DC fans a solid when he shared an image of Henry Cavill in a black Superman suit, and everyone is going crazy over the reveal. We don't know what Snyder is building up to, but now he's teasing that he could give us a look at the film's Green Lantern.

This was an exchange on Vero:

Though we get a short clip of a Green Lantern during the flashback battle in Justice League, rumor has it that we were supposed to get more Lanterns appearing in the movie. It was said that Kilowog and Tomar-Re would be the ones appearing in front of Alfred instead of Superman. Of course, we don't know how legit this is yet, so for now all we can really do is speculate.

It's a real bummer that Batman v Superman wasn't received well because it then lead to a cascade of horrible turns for the DCEU. Suicide Squad ended up a mess after the studio interfered, and Joss Whedon was then asked to take over for Snyder after the death of Snyder's daughter; leading to the mess that was the theatrical cut of Justice League.

While multiple sources are denying WB's interest in releasing Zack Snyder's version of the film, it seems that Snyder is sharing more and more bits of it online. At some point, you can't help but think he knows something, that's why he's suddenly making all this noise.

We don't know if a Snyder Cut will eventually be released, but the next DCEU film to come out will be Birds of Prey which hits theaters Feb. 7, 2020.
