After Avengers: Endgame, everyone is ready to revisit the MCU with Spider-Man: Far from Home. A new TV spot has been released for the movie, and it kind of gives away a joke with Peter's best friend Ned.
The spot basically ends with Ned telling Peter to keep himself single because he wants both of them to be bachelors in Europe. If you've watched closely at the trailers though, Ned actually finds a girlfriend with Betty Brandt, so his whole "bachelors in Europe" plan was basically thrown out the window before he had a chance to make it happen.
If anything, I absolutely love Ned's character, and I think it's great that we actually get a Spider-Man who friends. With MJ finding out who Peter really is, I think she's also going to be given something to do when it comes to the Spider-team rather than just be Peter's damsel in distress.
Here I was hoping that we actually got a classic Gwen Stacy/MJ/Peter love triangle going on for once. Give Peter Parker a love triangle, you cowards!
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
