Paul Bettany Talks the Behind-the-Scenes Secrecy of Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War is one of the biggest (if not the biggest) movies that Marvel Studios has come up with, so it's no surprise that there would be a ridiculous amount of secrecy behind it. Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, gives us a glimpse of how even the actors were bamboozled to keep from spoiling the film.

Talking to Syfy Wire, Bettany explains:

"That stuff is madness… There was one script on one locked iPad. They wrote fake scenes and nobody had read the script."

Though each cast member was given their own version of the script, it was said that Doctor Strange actor Benedict Cumberbatch was allowed to read the full screenplay. This makes sense since it was Strange who was able to look into the future and see the millions of possibilities of where this bout with Thanos would end.

Secrecy behind Marvel and Star Wars could be comparable, but with Infinity War hiding details from the cast, it was said that the script for Solo: A Star Wars Story was open for everyone in the cast to read. Maybe it's because the film doesn't build up to an unknown story like Avengers 4.

We don't know if we'll see Vision again in the fourth Avengers, but there could be a high possibility that he returns. Then again, that's just my guess.

Avengers: Infinity War is now out in theaters.
