Other Hanna-Barbera Characters in Scoob! Revealed

We've known for a while that Captain Caveman was going to be in the Scooby-Doo reboot, and an early leak had revealed that Muttley, Dick Dastardly's assistant, would be in the film as well. Now with the trailer out, the official description has actually listed down all the other Hanna-Barbera characters coming to the movie—and it may as well be spoilers based on how many characters are appearing.

As per the official description, the other characters appearing (and the stars voicing them) are Dick Dastardly (Jason Isaacs), Dee Dee (Kiersey Clemons), Dynomutt (Ken Jeong), and Blue Falcon (Mark Wahlberg). Captain Caveman, if you don't know, will be voiced by Tracy Morgan.

I actually wondered who the Dee Dee was listed down, but she's apparently a regular for Captain Caveman. Here I thought they were going to reference the 90s Cartoon Network with Dee Dee from Dexter's Laboratory.

We don't know how the other characters will appear in the film, but WB could very much be building their own Hanna-Barbera cinematic universe. Maybe the next films after Scoob! will be the likes of Top Cat or Secret Squirrel. Maybe we could get a Wacky Races film. I can already imagine the video game tie-in.

With all these characters listed down, you'd think that WB would try their best not to spoil the cameos, but I guess it won't be that big a deal, seeing as a lot of the Hanna-Barbera characters have been lost in obscurity when it comes to the general audience.

For now, we're set to explore WB's Hanna-Barbera universe with Scoob! which comes out May 15, 2020.
