New The Rise of Skywalker TV Spot Confirms Return of Vader's Mask

We're getting a lot of great Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker reveals today. Besides the new stills and poster, we also have a new TV spot that gives us a lot of great footage.

While we've already seen C-3PO do his "one last look" line in the final trailer, we have the resurgence of Vader's burnt mask from The Force Awakens. We never really got to see it return in The Last Jedi, and the shot in the spot kind of confirms that this is what Kylo and Rey destroy together.

We also have shots of the First Order troopers in landspeeders, and a shot of Rey brandishing her lightsaber on what looks to be the planet Kijimi. The "money shot", however, is Rey jumping from a Star Destroyer into the Falcon, with Kylo using the Force to hold himself down while troopers around him are blasted off the ground.

I have to say, Lucasfilm is trying really hard to market this film without giving anything away. They've always been secretive when it comes to these movies, so it's definitely tricky to get everyone excited about a film that they can know very little about. Hopefully, this will be all worth it in the end. I'm sure fans (and most likely everyone else involved) will love not having the spoiler cap on and just going wild online talking about the movie.

Catch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker when it hits theaters Dec. 20.
