Stranger Things managed to dazzle with its second season last year, and now everyone is gearing up to return to Hawkins this coming Halloween. The show is currently under production, and some new set photos have come out of Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Dacre Montgomery, and Cary Elwes.

By the looks of it, Officer Hopper is on vacation, but some guess that he's actually going undercover. Billy also has a less 80s look on the set, and Joyce Byers looks like she's wearing an outfit to match Hopper's.
As for Cary Elwes, he doesn't seem to be in costume yet, but he is set to play the mayor of Hawkins, Mayor Kline. There have been rumors going around that the third season will introduce a corrupt politician, and I think Elwes is our guy. Then again, I'm so used to him playing a hero, that I would want him to be some kind of kooky mayor who believes the kids about the Upside Down.
There have been rumors going out that Stranger Things could skip showing a season this year, but everyone is crossing their fingers that the show will be ready in time for Halloween. The first season was such a huge hit for Netflix, and I think Stranger Things is the perfect show to get everybody in the mood for Halloween.
No release date has been announced for Stranger Things 3.
