New Details for Unlocking Farmboy Luke in Star Wars Battlefront II

Star Wars Battlefront II had been teasing the farmboy Luke Skywalker skin ever since the last update, but for now, there's still no way to unlock him in the game. Good news is, DICE has finally given us details to get the classic look.

Unlike past appearances, this looks to be an individual timed quest and will require players to beat 150 enemies in the new Co-Op mode. Here's the official description:

It's now been over 40 years since Star Wars: A New Hope gave us our first look at Luke Skywalker, in particular his look from his time on Tatooine as a Farmboy. If you want to unlock this appearance here's what you'll have to do.

Objective:Defeat Enemies in Co-Op

Head on into Co-Op and defeat 150 enemies. This total does carry over, so you won't have to achieve the full amount in a single game. This is an individual tally, not a team based one.

Claim the Appearance:Complete the objective and login

As soon as you have defeated 150 enemies you will automatically unlock the appearance. From here you can go into the collection menu to equip it.

If anything, DICE is trying to get more players to check out the Co-Op mode so they can learn how to polish it better. I don't know how long it takes amateur players to get to 150 kills, but they better hurry up since the event is going to be live for only a week.

Besides the Luke skin, players can also unlock the Kenobi emote for Darth Maul. That one requires players to capture 15 command posts in Felucia.

Both times quests start on Oct. 11 and end on Oct. 18.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
