A lot of people are hyped for Netflix’s prequel to Dark Crystal, Age of Resistance, but as it turns out, the franchise is doing some cross promotion and is getting a game for the Nintendo Switch. A trailer for Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance – Tactics was shown at Nintendo’s presentation at E3 2019.

To be honest, the game doesn’t look too heavy, and I have a feeling it can come out as a mobile game somewhere down the line. Then again, I don’t know anything about game design, so this could very well be a Switch exclusive. BonusXP, the company working with Nintendo to bring Dark Crystal to the Switch, also worked on Stranger Things: The Game, Monster Crew, and Servo.

We also don’t have a specific release date for the game, but I’m guessing it would come out the same time as the series hits Netflix—maybe even after.

Here’s the official description of Netflix’s Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance:

The world of Thra is dying. The Crystal of Truth is at the heart of Thra, a source of untold power. But it is damaged, corrupted by the evil Skeksis, and a sickness spreads across the land. When three Gelfling uncover the horrific truth behind the power of the Skeksis, an adventure unfolds as the fires of rebellion are lit and an epic battle for the planet begins.

Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance premieres on Netflix on Aug. 30.
