Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Approved for Third and Fourth Season

We didn't get Stranger Things 3 last Halloween season, but Netflix did drop us a new show in the form of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show has already announced its second season coming out April of next year, but it looks like Netflix is already up for more of the Spellmans and their occult hijinks.

As per Netflix, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has already been renewed for two more seasons. Here's the official announcement:

And here's the announcement from the show's official page:

The first season ended with the revelation that Sabrina is meant to be the bride of the Dark Lord, and it's also been revealed that Harvey is descended from a long line of witch hunters. We don't really know where the show is moving after that, but with the comics already being a source of stories, I guess the show has a lot to draw from already.

Though the themes are admittedly darker than the original incarnation of Sabrina, CAOS admittedly still has that sitcom feel at the very heart of it, with the kooky relationship of the Spellmans and Sabrina's use of magic to get through her day-to-day problems.

Personally, I just wish that the series would take its time before diving into another season. The second season hasn't even come out and they're already approved for a third and fourth. You'd think they'd give time for the writers to come up with better stories for future episodes.

Catch The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina 2 on Netflix April 5, 2019.
