Nathan Fillion Joins The Cast Of Netflix's Series of Unfortunate Events 2

Netflix is apparently very happy with their adaptation of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate events, and the series is said to be renewed all the way through season three. The second season already has a boat-load of stars in the guest list—and you can add to that Firefly and Castle actor Nathan Fillion.

According to Variety, Fillion will be joining a cast of different guest celebrities which include Tony Hale (Arrested Development), Roger Bart (The Producers), Sara Rue (The Big Bang Theory), and Lucy Punch (Into the Woods). His role wasn't disclosed or anything, but you can bet that it's one of the Baudelaire's kooky guardians.

The first season of Unfortunate Events covered books one through four, and this second season is very likely to cover another four books as well—ending the entire series with five books in season 3. So far the series is being praised for being closer to the source material than the movies, but I myself prefer the more grounded version that starred Jim Carrey. Plus, the movie had way better production value compared to the series, I mean, look at that make-up.

No official release date has been announced for A Series of Unfortunate Events 2, but I'm guessing that it could come out early next year, on another Friday the 13th.
