Some big reveals came out for the Wonder Woman sequel today, and besides the official photos, we now have some set images of Gal Gadot and Chris Pine together.

I can't help but think that the reveals were done since the movie would be shooting out in the open, hence people would be seeing the actors either way. The same tactic was done with Deadpool 2—official images of Cable were shared before they started shooting on location where people would see Brolin in costume.
While it would have been better if the movie managed to keep Steve Trevor's return a secret, there was no point in lying if people on location were already going to see Chris Pine in costume. For now, all we have to do is guess how he finds himself in the 80s. Is he a clone? Is he a descendant of the original? Is he a ghost?
Hopefully Patty Jenkins has a satisfying answer for us.
With the success of Wonder Woman last year, the pressure is on for the sequel to deliver just as well in the box office. Let's hope Jenkins and her crew are up to the challenge.
