Meet Cal Kestis in New Story Trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

After Star Wars Battlefront II, EA is now looking to revisit the Star Wars property with Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. We recently got 13 minutes of gameplay footage from EA Play, and now we have a shorter, more cinematic trailer for the game which also showcases how the game is going to feel.

The trailer basically has a lot of footage from the earlier released gameplay, but we have this new entry sequence with Cal hijacking an AT-AT walker. Pretty much from there we see him run into Saw Gerrera, then we enter the mission we see on Kashyyyk.

I'll admit, I am kind of weary of the way the game looks. Cal has very weird posture when he's standing still, and the slow blaster bolts from the troopers look kind of clunky. Either way, the game still has a lot of polishing to do, and all the cinematics we've seen before were nothing short of flawless.

With Battlefront II taking two years since release to finally get back on its feet, there's a lot riding with Fallen Order to be a success. This could start a new platformer franchise for EA, and some are already considering this to be the spiritual successor of the Force Unleashed games. Hopefully they don't slip up when the game becomes available this November.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be playable for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on Nov. 15.
