Lynda Carter Could Reprise Wonder Woman for Crisis on Infinite Earths

Move over, Avengers: Endgame, because DC is looking to have one of the most ambitious crossover events this December with Crisis on Infinite Earths. The event promises to bring back characters not just from The CW, and it's likely that we could get the OG Wonder Woman in the film.

According to Deadline, there's a possibility that Lynda Carter could be reprising her role as Wonder Woman for the crossover event. We don't have any more details further than that, but if Batman's Burt Ward (Robin) is making an appearance, what are the odds the showrunners have also gotten Wonder Woman to show up in Crisis?

Though Carter's involvement is still ambiguous, there are several other actors confirmed for the crossover already. We've known for a while that Brandon Routh will be reprising Superman (albeit the Kingdom Come version this time), as well as Smallville's Tom Welling. The show has also cast Kevin Conroy, the voice of animated Batman, as an older Bruce Watne; to note this will be Conroy's first portrayal of a live-action version of Batman. Fingers crossed they get Will Friedle to play a live-action version of Terry McGinnis.

With the event still set for December, there's a lot of time for the show to gather different actors to reprise certain roles. How crazy would it be if they managed to get Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill to reprise their roles as Batman and Superman even for just a little cameo?

Crisis on Infinite Earths will start with Supergirl on Dec. 8, and continue with Batwoman (Dec. 9) and The Flash (Dec. 10). The whole event ends on Jan. 14 with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
