List of Wanted Actors for the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Leaked

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie has some big names in the cast including Jim Carrey and James Marsden. As it turns out, the film had a lot more different actors in mind to star in the film, and it didn't even nab a single one.

As you can see, the film had a lot of choices before they ended up with Marsden and Ben Schwartz. We don't know as to why none of them were cast, but I can imagine the pressure of starring in a franchise as big as Sonic would be another hell of a commitment—and a lot of these guys are already working in the MCU.

What I do think it funny is that Chris Pratt was considered for both Tom and the voice of Sonic.

If Marsden is weak in anything, I guess he's not as funny as the other actors that have been placed on the list. Then again, I still think he's very likable. He did a great job in Westworld, and I'm sure a lot of people still love him as Cyclops.

As for Ben Schwartz, he's been voicing "blue" themed characters since the DuckTales reboot. He voices Dewey in the show, and in Nickelodeon's latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle reboot, he's playing Leonardo. Besides Sonic the Hedgehog, I wonder if he has any other blue characters in mind. Let him voice a blue Power Ranger perhaps?

Sonic the Hedgehog is set to come out Nov. 8, 2019.
