While a lot of people are excited to see what Rian Johnson's own Star Wars trilogy is going to look like, first they'll get to watch his original mystery thriller Knives Out. The movie boasts a star-studded cast including Chris Evans, Daniel Craig, and Ana de Armas, and now we have some character posters giving each cast member the spotlight:

The movie boasts to be a classic ‘whodunnit' in the same vein as Murder on the Orient Express. After the blockbuster that was The Last Jedi, this looks to be a return to form for Johnson, going back to his works like Brick and Looper.
So far, people who've checked out the film at the Toronto International Film Festival have been giving Knives Out stellar reviews. Despite the tropes that come with the genre, it's said that Johnson was able to keep things fresh with this movie; I don't expect less from the same guy who had managed to subvert every expectation when it came to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer) is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan's dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan's untimely death.
