Kevin Feige Confirms Loki Series is Connected to Doctor Strange 2

Loki may be dead in the main MCU timeline, but there's a version of him that's escaped with the Space Stone, and he'll be the main focus of Disney+'s Loki series. What's interesting is, it's been confirmed that the series will actually be connected to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

Talking to Bloomberg about the launch of Disney+, Feige ended up talking about Loki's connection to the Doctor Strange sequel, to which he replies, "I'm not sure we've actually acknowledged that before. But it does."

For now, WandaVision and Loki are set to come out in Spring 2021, with Doctor Strange 2 coming out in the middle in May. It's likely WandaVision will build up to DS2, then with the concept of multi-verses properly introduced, we can get into Loki then moving on to the animated What If…? which can focus on a lot more other multi-verses.

Seeing that Loki is a trickster god, I would love to see him interact with Doctor Strange more seeing as they are both from that world. I would also love to see what Scarlet Witch brings to the table; I have a feeling she has a lot of potential for magic, but she just has no idea yet, that's where Strange comes in to help her hone her abilities better.

Or whatever they have planned, I'm sure Marvel Studios will come up with a great story, seeing as they already have Phase 4 planned out.

For now, Loki is set to come out in the Spring of 2021. Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is slated for a release on May 7, 2021.
