Jon Favreau Gives Fan a Gift from the Set of Star Wars: The Mandalorian

Jon Favreau is currently working on Star Wars: The Mandalorian, and a lot of fans can't wait to see what the director of Iron Man has to bring to the world of Star Wars. A fan by the name of Alexandre Nihous ran into Favreau during the DGA Awards, and Favreau had a neat gift for him.

Check out this cool coin from the set of The Mandalorian:

At first, I thought it was a prop that we would see in the film, but it seems to be a keepsake that Favreau keeps for himself. On the back of the coin, it says ‘The Mandalorian – Executive Producer'. No doubt Favreau could be keeping these to give away to any fan he runs into. Maybe he'll have a whole bunch of them for fans to get during Star Wars Celebration this April.

Besides Star Wars Episode IX, a lot of people have been looking forward to Favreau's first jab at a live-action Star Wars show. The budget is said to be incredibly generous, and I'm curious about what kind of story to expect. With a property like Star Wars, fans are expecting only the best. I mean, animated series is one thing, but live-action is going to have a lot of demands when it comes to production value alone.

Let's hope Favreau and his team will manage to catch up.

No release date has been set for Star Wars: The Mandalorian, but it's expected to debut along with Disney's streaming service which is set to go live later this year.
