We've already had a lot of looks at Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker on the set of Joker, but thanks to Just Jared, we actually get a look at the new cast member. Check out Bret Cullen as one of the richest people in Gotham:
Originally the role was said to be going to Alec Baldwin, but his schedule has forced him to back out of playing Batman's father. At some point, you could even say that Cullen here already kind of looks like Baldwin.
Besides the image here, we know that the Joker will be starting a riot with people seemingly protesting Wayne. Based on what we can see from this scene, I'm guessing that Arthur Fleck will have a run-in with Wayne, and it goes so badly that he decides to get revenge on him when he finally becomes the Joker.
With Thomas Wayne's roles usually just involving him as someone who gets shot in an alley, I'm actually excited to see more of him in the future. Sure Batman may think his parents are saints, but it would be interesting if we got to follow Mr. Wayne before Batman's origin; if he did anything shady or mysterious?
The Joker movie is turning out pretty interesting, and it's probably one of the more anticipated comic book films of 2019. Sure Marvel has Avengers 4, but besides Joker, the DCEU has Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984 waiting on their roster as well.
