While quarantine and isolation can be tough on adults, it certainly is also tough for little kids; and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has launched a website to help young witches and wizards get through the boredom of being stuck at home.

As per The Wrap, Rowling has launched harrypotterathome.com which will be filled with quizzes, videos, puzzles, and other fun things for kids to do. The site promises to ‘cast a banishing charm to boredom!’ Here’s the intro on the home page:

We know that everyone is trying to keep safe at home at the moment and so, with J.K. Rowling and our friends at Audible, Bloomsbury, OverDrive, Pottermore Publishing and Scholastic, we are delighted to introduce Harry Potter At Home to help children, parents, carers and teachers add a touch of Harry Potter magic to our new daily lives.

It’s also said that the first Potter book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone/Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone will be available for free this month as an audiobook; so you can jump on that chance right now on Audible or the Overdrive library app.

Harry Potter was probably one of the biggest pop-culture franchises to Millenials, and I’m really curious on how the story is being taken in by a younger generation. Sure Fantastic Beasts may not have been the hit we were expecting, but the books seem to be timeliness no matter what age you are.

Visit Harry Potter at Home today.
