Is Sabine Wren Going to be in Star Wars: The Mandalorian?

Lucasfilm had introduced us to female Mandalorian Sabine Wren in Star Wars Rebels, but now some new info from the set has possible revealed that she could be part of Jon Favreau's live-action The Mandalorian as well.

According to Making Star Wars, the tech being used to make the VFX for the show has been using Sabine's helmet for some reason. We don't have any confirmation that Sabine would be in the show, but we do know that her helmet is going to be in it.

Will it just be some obscure Easter Egg? Or was it just a placeholder to keep snooping fans in the dark? Is Gina Carano actually playing her?

When it comes to the timeline of The Mandalorian, I think an appearance from Sabine is not out of context. She was pretty young during the events of Rebels, and I can imagine her to be a full-grown woman come the timeline of this show—which is said to be set five years after Return of the Jedi.

The last we've seen Sabine in Rebels was her going on a mission with Ahsoka to try and find Ezra Bridger. We don't really know how that mission ends, but hopefully, we could get some answers with The Mandalorian. Personally, I love it when Star Wars connects itself across shows like when Saw Gerrera from Clone Wars appeared in Rogue One and Star Wars Rebels.

No official release date has been announced for Star Wars: The Mandalorian, but it is set to debut along with Disney's streaming service, Disney+, next year.
