Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus Gets a New Trailer Revealing More Plot

Rocko's Modern Life isn't the only Nickelodeon classic coming to Netflix this month. Invader Zim is set to make a return with Enter the Florpus, and Netflix has given us a new trailer that details a bit more on the plot.

Here's the official description:

ZIM discovers his almighty leaders never had any intention of coming to Earth and he loses confidence in himself for the first time in his life, which is the big break his human nemesis, Dib has been waiting for.

Though we have gotten several teasers for Enter the Florpus, this is the first preview that actually gives us a better look at the whole story. Plus, we finally get to see more of Zim's nemesis Dib (and his sister Gaz). We don't really know how the show is set to end, but it's likely it will conclude Zim's whole quest, seeing as he's finally accepted that the tallest basically sent him to Earth just to get rid of him.

Invader Zim manages to be a cult classic for Nickelodeon, and it's interesting that Netflix managed to bring back the show, even if it's just for one special. Though I don't expect a new generation of kids to get excited for Enter the Florpus, hopefully it serves as an introduction to one of Nick's most memorable and darkly comedic shows.

Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus airs on Netflix this coming Aug. 16.
