Gameplay Reveal for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is Coming in June

Last Star Wars Celebration we got our first look at Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but everything so far have just been cinematics. Everyone is curious about the gameplay, and good news is, we're going to be getting our first look this June.

This was the announcement from the official EA Star Wars Twitter account:

With Star Wars Battlefront II being a shooter game, Fallen Order is expected to be the spiritual successor of the Force Unleashed franchise—in a sense that it's an action platformer game.

In Fallen Order, players get to take control of Cal Kestis, a former Jedi Padawan who is trying to escape the great Jedi Purge and is on the run from Imperial Inquisitors. While everyone is expecting some big spectacle with Fallen Order, we're also expecting some smaller scale gameplay that has something to do with stealth; Kestis is a Jedi in hiding, and since he stopped training mid-way, his skillset isn't fully equipped to take on the Empire or trained Sith Inquisitors.

A lot of hype is building up for the game, and everyone is ready for this to open doors to more Star Wars games. Why stop at shooters and platformers? I think everyone is ready for a remaster of Star Wars Episode I: Racer. There's also rumbling going around that a new LEGO Star Wars is in the works.

Catch Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order when it comes out Nov. 15.
