After the success of Ralph Breaks the Internet, Disney is now ready to come back to one of their biggest franchises with Frozen II. A new international poster has been released for the film, and the tagline could clue us in more on the story.
Funny thing is, the first movie never really explained why Elsa had powers. She kind of just had them and no one was asking any questions. With the sequel exploring more of the magic of the world of Frozen, I guess it would be interesting to find out why Elsa has these powers and Anna doesn't.
Admittedly Frozen is one of those Disney movies that are more kid-friendly (unlike Zootopia or Wreck-It Ralph 2 which had more adult themes). With the sequel though, it's like Disney was aware that the original audience for Frozen has grown up, and it looks like they're ready to add some more maturity to the story of Anna and Elsa.
Elsa the Snow Queen and her sister Anna embark on an adventure far away from the kingdom of Arendelle. They are joined by friends, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven.
It's also worth noting that the movie is said to have Anna and Elsa trying to find out what happened to their parents.
Catch Frozen II in theaters Nov. 22.
