Flashpoint Movie Now A Priority At Warner Bros

The Flash solo movie has been having a hard time trying to get off the ground what with all the directors quitting the project, but it seems that things are picking up for the film and Flashpoint is currently top priority at Warner Bros.

According to the Wall Street Journal, WB is more confident with pushing things forward for Flashpoint after the positive reception of Ezra Miller's Flash from Justice League. The film was originally set for a release early next year, but with all the drama involving directors quitting, WB had to pull the Flash movie from its original release date. As of now, it seems that only Aquaman is coming out in 2018.

Rumor had it that Warner Bros was waiting for the reception of Justice League before they moved forward with the DCEU since the movie's success would help them decide which direction to go. You can't really blame the studio for being more careful this time around. After four movies, only the last one was considered a "good" film by all the fans. Hopefully Justice League will be able to catch up to Wonder Woman's heels.

So far, we know very little about the Flashpoint film except that it will be based on the Flashpoint Paradox. Wonder Woman Gal Gadot is said to be making an appearance, and Billy Crudup, who will be introduced as Barry's father in JL, is also said to have a larger role this time around.

No official release date has been announced for the Flashpoint movie, but hopefully we get one once Warner Bros decides on who directs the film.

Meanwhile, we can catch the Flash in Justice League when it hits theaters Nov. 17.
