First Black Widow Teaser to Come Out in December

Black Widow is set to kick-off MCU Phase 4, and the movie is set to come out sometime early next year. Everyone has been wondering if we're going to get our first teaser this coming D23 Expo, but it looks like we'll have to wait until December to get our first look at Natasha Romanoff's solo film.

According to MCU Source on Twitter (and retweeted by The GWW's Caleb Williams), the first teaser for Black Widow is set to come out on December 14. Though we don't have any official announcements for the release, it would make sense for the first teaser to come out during that time, counting that the film has an early 2020 release date.

As for the main plot of the movie, we still have no idea, but we do know some details of the film here and there. We know that the film takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War, and will have people from Widow's past coming back to her radar.

We have Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh apparently playing other women who have gone through the Black Widow program (Pugh is said to be comics' Yelena Belova), and we also have David Harbour playing the Russian Captain America—The Red Guardian. It's also been confirmed that the villain for the film is Taskmaster, a master martial artist who can imitate any fighting style he sees.

Hopefully more details come out in D23, but for now, this December date for a teaser seems very likely.

Catch Black Widow when it hits theaters May 5, 2020.
