Fanmade Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Poster Adds Thor to the Roster

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 may not have been announced for MCU Phase 4, but we know that the script is done, and James Gunn will start working on the film right after The Suicide Squad for DC. We don't have any official images yet, but a cool fanmade poster gives us a look at the Guardians alongside everyone's favorite Asgardian.

Check it out:

Of course, we still have no idea if Thor will be playing a major part in Guardians 3, but Chris Hemsworth has said that he would be glad to return for the film. If anything, it would be a waste to have him jet off with the Guardians in Endgame only to have him be written off at the beginning of the film. Hopefully, Thor finds his epiphany in this movie, then it will build up to him passing the mantle to Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder.

We don't have any official idea for the story of Guardians 3 yet, but rumor has it that the story will deal with Rocket finding his creator as well as Drax discovering that his daughter is still alive. As for Quill, he's said to have a new bond with Nebula, seeing as they've both lost Gamora—which a deleted scene in Endgame confirms is still alive.

We don't have an official release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 yet, but we could be looking at a slate for 2022 if things go smoothly.
