Fanart Imagines Aquaman's Jason Momoa as the MCU's New Sabertooth

Aquaman star Jason Momoa had recently made headlines when he said that he would be open to being the new Wolverine for the MCU, but internet artist BossLogic thinks he's much better suited for another role—Wolverine's nemesis Sabertooth.

Just in, BossLogic has shared his take on what Momoa could look like as one of Magneto's top henchmen:

Though Momoa already looks ferocious on his own, I love how this design managed to make use of the giant fur thingy on Sabertooth's shoulders. It may not be likely that we could get Momoa in the X-Universe soon, but at least we have this mock-up to keep us satisfied for now.

If anything, I think Momoa is better suited for another Marvel villain role—Kraven the Hunter. Tom Holland himself says he wants Momoa to play the role of one of Spider-Man's deadliest villains, and maybe Momoa can make an exception when it comes to crossing over to the MCU. I mean, he's not the first one to move from DC to Marvel. Laurence Fishburne was Perry White in the DCEU before signing up with Marvel to be Ben Foster/Goliath in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

At best, Marvel is going to take at least five years before they bring the X-Men into their universe, so there's really no rush to have anyone come onboard yet. If they do cast Sabertooth though, I hope he becomes a match for the new Wolverine—who I'm kind of hoping is introduced in the second X-film so he doesn't steal the spotlight.

The next MCU movie coming out is Spider-Man: Far from Home, and it hits theaters July 2.
