Falcon and the Winter Soldier Gets Working Title, Will Shoot This Fall

Disney+ had announced a handful of Marvel miniseries for their streaming service, but it looks like the first to start production will be Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Just in, we have a working title for the series as well as a start date.

As per Discussing Film, Falcon and The Winter Soldier will begin production on Aug. 12 in Atlanta and will be working under the title of Tag Team. We don't really have more explanation than that, but I guess the title kind of speaks for itself, counting that Bucky and Sam were both partners of Captain America.

We don't really have an official synopsis for the series, but Anthony Mackie himself said that it could focus on both Sam and Bucky trying to make sense of the world now that Captain America is gone. We know that the shield was given to Sam at the finale of Endgame, but we don't really know when he'll officially receive that mantle. Will it be by the end of the series? Personally, I'd want to see him star in his own Captain America movie—whenever Marvel plans to release that.

For now, all we can really do is wait. Besides Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we also have shows like Loki, WandaVision, and the one with Hawkeye. Let's hope we get updates as the year trudges along.

Falcon and The Winter Soldier are set to debut on Disney+ on August 2020.
