Deleted Deadpool 2 Scene could have Introduced Omega Red

After a successful run at the box office, Deadpool 2 is now gearing up for its home release. Ryan Reynolds has teased a ‘Super Duper F*cking Cut' and one of the bonus scenes teases this classic X-villain.

According to ComicBookMovie, a deleted scene is called Chess with Omega Red. We don't know exactly where the scene takes place, but it does come after another scene called The Deadpool Prison Experiment. The best guess would be that Omega Red is one of the mutant prisoners in the Ice Box.

With Deadpool 2 already having some great cameos in the form of Juggernaut, Shatterstar, and even the original X-cast, I'm not too bummed that they pulled out Omega Red. Of course, he's still a pretty good villain, and it's possible that they could be saving him for the X-Force movie.

Deadpool 2 was a box office success, and it's amazing how well it did despite coming out after Avengers: Infinity War. Too bad for Solo: A Star Wars Story though. The close release dates of both films was said to have been a factor to the underperformance of Solo in the box office.

Catch Deadpool 2: he Super Duper F*cking Cut on digital Aug. 7 and Blu-Ray Aug. 21.
