Daniel Radcliffe is an Angel and Steve Buscemi is God in New Teaser for Miracle Workers

With NBC's afterlife-themed series The Good Place being such a huge hit, TBS has released a promo for their limited series that also deals with angels and demons—Miracle Workers.

Here's an official description:

A comedy set in the offices of Heaven Inc. When God plans to destroy the Earth, two low-level angels must convince their boss to save humanity. They bet him they can pull off their most impossible miracle yet: help two humans fall in love.

The show is actually based on a book by Simon Rich called What in God's Name, and it will have Daniel Radcliffe as the main character Craig. His boss God will be played by Steve Buscemi, and you'll also recognize Karan Soni (Deadpool) and Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers).

Unlike The Good Place which has been renewed for a fourth season, Miracle Workers is just a limited series and will run for seven episodes. Though the goal of sitcoms is basically to run as long as they can, I'm also interested in the limited series format as they can tell solid and compelling stories without being too pressed for time.

Plus, the cast is impressive. Radcliffe has proven himself outside of the Potter franchise for quite a while, and add the fantastic Steve Buscemi to the mix, and you have yourself a solid show. Not to mention 30 Rock's Lorne Michaels is also onboard as Executive Producer.

Catch Miracle Workers on TBS when it premieres Feb. 12, 2019.
