Disney had just dropped a new teaser for next year’s Onward yesterday, and we have some new character posters celebrating the colorful characters of the film that aren’t Ian and Barley Lightfoot.

We have a poster for the Manticore character played by Octavia Spencer as well as Laurel Lighfoot who is voiced by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. As revealed in the latest trailer, it looks like Laurel will be going on a quest of her own, following the footsteps of her children who went off on a ‘quest.’ It’s likely she’s also going to have the Manticore tag along with her.

While we only get to see one of the cops in the teaser, I guess they have relevant enough roles to merit their own piece of promo material. What’s interesting is, these three are voiced by Lena Waithe (Ready Player One), comedian Ali Wong, and Mel Rodriguez (The Last Man on Earth).

The movie has assembled an impressive cast, and I’m sure the lead roles of Chris Pratt and Tom Holland alone are enough to draw an audience. For now the cast doesn’t list who’s playing their father, but I guess it would be fun if they manage to get Robert Downey Jr. to take on the role. I mean, if he can work on something like Dolittle, then maybe he has enough time for a small role in a Disney Pixar movie.

Set in a suburban fantasy world, Disney and Pixar’s “Onward” introduces two teenage elf brothers (voices of Chris Pratt and Tom Holland) who embark on an extraordinary quest to discover if there is still a little magic left out there.

For now, Onward is set to hit theaters March 6, 2020.
