Cyborg Could Appear in The Flash Solo Film

With the Flash solo movie said to be based on Flashpoint, a lot of people are hoping that there will be appearances from other supereheroes. While a lot are hoping to see Thomas Wayne's Batman, there is word coming out that fellow JL member Cyborg could be making an appearance.

According to insider Daniel Richtman (via DCEU Mythic), there were plans to include Victor Stone a.k.a. Cyborg in the solo Flash movie. Of course, it's possible that plans would have changed, seeing that the script has undergone multiple rewrites and changes when it comes to the director.

If anything, Cyborg and Flash kind of make a good duo when it comes to the League. Both are the youngest members of the group and have significantly bonded in JL, plus Flash mentioned Victor in his Crisis on Infinite Earths cameo.

Personally, I think that the main allure of the Flashpoint story is that we get to meet alternate versions of classic heroes, and it would be a shame if the only metahuman we got in the film was the Flash. With the DCEU slowly getting back with the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, I would love to see the return of Ray Fisher as Cyborg; he was perfectly cast, and I think it's a shame that they cut out most of his scenes with the theatrical cut of JL.

For now, The Flash is set for a release on June 2, 2022.
