Composer Teases the Trailer for Aquaman

With Aquaman the only DCEU movie coming out this year, it would make sense that WB would want to market it properly; especially after the mishap that was Justice League. For now, it looks like the trailer is underway, and composer Carlos Villalobos has given us a teaser.

Check it out:

We don't know if Villalobos is simply working on just the trailer, but seeing as the music comes in the post-production process, it's a safe bet that this tease is only for the preview. It's worth noting that Danny Elfman was hired to score Justice League very late in the game.

Though Aquaman is usually considered the butt of the joke when it comes to the Justice League, Zack Snyder has made one hell of a job, solidifying this new Aquaman image that he is not to be messed with; add to that a great performance by Jason Momoa, and you have another classic superhero brought to life.

With Wonder Woman being the only ‘success' in the DCEU, I'm really hoping that James Wan knocks it out of the park with this film. It's not enough that Marvel movies will be dominating 2018 with releases like Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War. DC needs to step up its game.

Aquaman hits theaters Dec. 21.
