Before you see him as Batman, Robert Pattinson has teamed up with The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan for a movie called Tenet. We just got our first images for the film, and Nolan talks about this being his most ambitious project yet.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Nolan explains, "We're jumping off from the point of view of an espionage film, but we're going to a number of different places… We're crossing a few different genres in a hopefully exciting and fresh way. [Producer] Emma [Thomas] and I have put together a lot of large-scale productions, but this is certainly the biggest in terms of international reach. We shot in seven countries, all over the place, with a massive cast and huge set pieces. There's no question, it's the most ambitious film we've made."

We don't have an official synopsis for the movie yet, but it has been rumored that the film is going to be a ‘James Bond with Time Travel'. Nolan has basically confirmed the espionage element of the film, so now we're just wondering what kind of different genres he's going to draw from when it comes to the movie.

Admittedly, the last Nolan film that I enjoyed to the fullest was Inception; While I do love the intent behind Interstellar, I admittedly wasn't too fond of how the science fell apart in the end. I guess Dunkirk was also kind of lackluster for me, considering what kind of films Nolan has worked on.

If anything, I'm excited about the movie, and I can't wait to see what Nolan brings to the big screen next year.

Catch Tenet in theaters July 17, 2020.
