Check Out Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn in the Style of Bruce Timm

Suicide Squad may have been a mediocre film, but Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn definitely came out a fan favorite. While we wait for Birds of Prey to hit theaters, check out some of this fantastic fanart that draws the movie Harley in the style of the DC Animated Universe's Bruce Timm.

I especially love the takes on the DCEU Batman and Joker as well. At this rate, we'll never get to watch the Jared Leto's Joker clash with Batfleck, but now I'm kind of hoping that we get some kind of comic or animated movie that would give us a taste of what could have been.

Between Batman, Joker, and Harley, it seems that it's only Harley that managed to survive the reworking of the DCEU. Ben Affleck is now officially out as Batman, and I have a feeling they're going to announced Leto's retirement from the character as well. I guess the difference is that people actually loved Affleck's take on Batman; it's Leto's Joker that people didn't quite like. Personally, I was up for giving Leto another shot; after all, it's not really his fault that the Joker was underutilized in the film. Fingers crossed they make him do a small cameo in Birds of Prey.

After [splitting] up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes – Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya – come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord.

Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) comes out Feb. 7, 2020.
