The caption loosely translates:

Here is my friend Guillermo Del Toro who will appear in Death Stranding. I wanted Del Toro to focus on filmmaking so I only recorded 3D scans (face and body) for some of the performance. Motion capture and voice is provided by someone else. The Japanese voice will be provided by Akihiko Ishizumi.

So far, Del Toro's character has only appeared in one preview for Death Stranding, so we can't really tell what his relevance to the story will be. We know that he's not the only celebrity in the game though; Death Stranding also includes performances from Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Lea Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner. Troy Baker is also attached to voice a character called The Man in the Golden Mask.

Though Death Stranding is one of the most anticipated games for the PS4, very little is known about the overall story. We've been getting small reveals with the trailers, but so far, everything is an obscure mess of a story—all mixed together with fantastic and surreal visuals.

A lot of people were expecting this game to come out last year, but for now, it looks like we'll have to wait until 2019.

No official release date has been announced for Death Stranding.
