Check Out Cool Covers for Shazam! Tie-In Books

Shazam! comes out early next year, and before the film's release, we're going to be getting a barrage of tie-in materials and merchandise. Just in we have some covers for some books helping to promote the film.

Check them out:

While all of the books are supposed to be for kids, you can appreciate the great artwork that the covers come with, it's like something out of Pixar or Disney.

With Shazam! coming out as kid-friendly as it is, it's kind of hard to imagine that the DCEU was kicked off with darker films like Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Admittedly, I miss the more mature tone that DC was going for initially, but Shazam! still looks like a good bit of fun. With the Marvel films ending up the same when it comes to tone, I'm actually wondering if DC is going to have a mix of kid-friendly and mature films moving forward. Let's not forget that next year will also see the release of the Joker movie.

For now, fans are waiting on a second trailer for Shazam! which is promised to arrive in the New Year. With the film coming out soon, it would make sense for WB to start building up hype for the movie as early as now. You can only watch the SDCC trailer so many times.

Billy Batson is a streetwise 14-year-old who can magically transform into the adult superhero Shazam simply by shouting out one word. His newfound powers soon get put to the test when he squares off against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.

Catch Shazam! in theaters April 5, 2019.
