Captain Marvel Promo Image Showcases The Full Starforce Roster

Promo material for Captain Marvel has been slowly trickling out and we have a new image showcasing the Kree Starforce.

Check them out:

Interestingly enough, some people are calling out the labeled characters to be fake since some toy leaks have already confirmed that Jude Law is playing Captain Marvel nemesis Yon-Rogg and not Mar-Vell. Then again, the movie could be building us up for a twist with Rogg merely posing as Mar-Vell.

What if he was actually a Skrull in disguise?

Interestingly, you'll also notice that Carol Danvers in the roster is just named Vers. It's said that in the film, ‘Vers' will be the only characters left on Carol's damaged dog tag, leading the Kree to think that Vers is her full name.

Besides that, we also have a look at Starforce sniper Minerva plus returning Guardians of the Galaxy character Korath. In this film, it's said that Korath is still considered the clueless one in the whole bunch. I wonder if the movie will end with him being in Ronan the Accuser's employ.

Captain Marvel sidesteps the traditional origin-story template, and when it begins, Carol already has her powers. She's left her earthly life behind to join an elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by Jude Law's enigmatic commander. But before long, Carol finds herself back on Earth with new questions about her past. And she's got a formidable enemy in the form of the Skrulls — the notorious Marvel baddies made all the more dangerous by their shape-shifting abilities. Ben Mendelsohn plays their leader Talos, who spearheads a Skrull invasion of Earth.

Catch Captain Marvel in cinemas March 8, 2019.
